All Inside

The interior is really coming along - Trimcraft installed the lighting, the electrician wired everything, and the space is really starting to feel "real".

The new stairs that will step down from the dining room in to the kitchen.

Jenny & Dan painstakingly "massaged" the newly graded area and seeded it with new grass.  The grass has started growing in again AND most importantly, the water seems to be flowing downhill and away from the houses!

Interior Shots

The view out the new windows where the kitchen sink will be.

View from the old doorway going in to the old kitchen....the old stairway has been ripped out.

Cole standing in his old bedroom in front of the old exterior window that looked out on to the porch.

Cole standing at the new "top of the stairs" going down in to the new kitchen.  The three windows you see open on to the garden.

Cole standing at where the new kitchen stove will be (you can see the hood mock-up hanging from the ceiling).  The hole to the right of the photo is where the new stairs will go down in to the basement.

I'm standing outside shooting through the window - you can see Dan and Jase standing in the new kitchen space.

New Tenants

A new tenant moved in to the Frost-Ohlsen house.  I'm wondering if he'll have kids.

Windows!

Trimcraft installed the windows last week (would've gotten this up earlier, but I misplaced my camera!).  It's starting to really feel like a house in the backyard!

Youngest Trimcrafter

It's Christmas!

Trimcraft started wrapping the exterior....maybe siding coming soon?

DEMOLISHION!

Trimcraft started demolishing the kitchen this week.  You can see the old doorway tarped off, and what they think is old exterior siding.

They've also just about finished the new roof.

A few more shots

Blogger only lets me upload 5 photos with each post, so here are a few more to go along with the last post:View from the roof.
Underneath the old siding.
Out to the street.
Side view from the driveway.

Enclosed

The first layer is up.  Trimcraft has been framing the "bump up" to connect the old house with the new.

Hangin' Ply

This shot is from just a few days ago.  Trimcraft started hangin' the plywood.

Framed Up

Finally got one tarpless.

Big Blue Box

More from last week:

Trimcraft had the addition tarped off so I kept calling it Best Buy.
