These Forms Are Gonna Be Awesome!

That is a direct quote from Tate this morning....I had no idea he was so in to forms.

It appears as if the guys are laying out the foundation.

Check It Out!

The guys pulled off the tarps this morning, so I got a few shots:

Check out the cantilever!
The garage.

aaaaaw, aren't they cute!

Frost, Olsen & Frost-Olsen's are on vacation right now (hence the blog for updates).  They just sent over this photo of them huddled around looking at photos of their construction.

It's all blue

The backhoe & bobcat finished excavating today - the hole is enormous!  If my knee were better I would go over and climb in!  Everything has been tarped off just in case of rain....so the photos are pretty boringly blue.  If you look closely you can see some bracing poking out.  Maybe the tarps will come off tomorrow....;)

Afternoon Update

A shot from above of the bobcat & backhoe doin' their work.

I was kind of shocked when I came out this afternoon and saw part of the foundation missing!

The guys tarped everything this evening because of threat of thunderstorms.

Mid-Day Progress

I snapped a few photos while the guys were on lunch break.

It's starting! It's starting!

It feels like Christmas morning....I woke up early and was waiting for the excavation to begin.  If only Dan & Cole were here!

 The Bobcat ready & waiting.
Whoa!  Check out the backhoe!

Sleepy Day

It's a rather sleepy day on Mifflin Street....waiting for approvals to start the excavation work and it started raining a few hours ago.

The official job sign!
Ready for excavation!
Trimcrafter Darren is boogyin'!

And So It Begins

Trimcraft Builders started "deconstruction" to our neighbors house today...the Frost-Ohlsen's.  Before we knew it, the back porch was gone!
Here is a shot earlier in the deconstruction process

The dump box being delivered up the driveway.

This used to be the porch?!*%!

Just yesterday, there were a thousand cloves of garlic piled on the back porch!
