Adding the Floor

I've been behind...still catching up from going out of town.  Here is another shot from last week - Trimcraft started putting in the floor (ceiling for the basement).

Everything has been backfilled!

Jenny & Dan had the area between our houses re-graded to help with water seepage in our basements.  Check out the root!

The guys are painting a moisture sealant on the basement walls before backfilling next week.

MORE CONSTRUCSHION!

No, this is not Jenny & Dan's.  This is my parents house in Pullman, Washington.  My brother designed it for them & is also the GC.  They broke ground last fall and it is nearing completion.This is taken from Meadowvale (it's the garage - in the same place as before).

Swimming Pool?

Poured!

They poured the foundation walls on Tuesday.  They brought in 5 separate concrete trucks with just a little bit of concrete in each because the driveway couldn't handle the weight of a full concrete truck.   One of the forms leaked - the one off to the left where you see the extra bracing.

Forms for the Walls

Today they started building the forms for the walls of the basement.
