Backfilled

Everything has been backfilled!

Jenny & Dan had the area between our houses re-graded to help with water seepage in our basements.  Check out the root!

Girly-Man House

The basement is all dressed up in pink with nowhere to go!

I was dubbed the "Mifflin Street Paparazzi" today....so I decided to zoom in on the client and contractor in the above photo.

MORE CONSTRUCSHION!

No, this is not Jenny & Dan's.  This is my parents house in Pullman, Washington.  My brother designed it for them & is also the GC.  They broke ground last fall and it is nearing completion. This is taken from Meadowvale (it's the garage - in the same place as before).
On meadowvale side, looking down toward the Willow Tree.
This is what used to be my bedroom.
Inside the cathedral space.  Studio and library are on the left I think.

Swimming Pool?

Is it too late to change the plans to be a swimming pool?

Poured!

They poured the foundation walls on Tuesday.  They brought in 5 separate concrete trucks with just a little bit of concrete in each because the driveway couldn't handle the weight of a full concrete truck.   One of the forms leaked - the one off to the left where you see the extra bracing.

Just Before The Pour

The Trimcrafters checkin' out the forms.

Cement Truck

Coming up the driveway.
Getting ready to pour the footing.
Here are some videos of the pour.  I had to shoot it in sections so the file wouldn't be too large to upload.
